A Joke, Anyone?

A Polish immigrant went to the DMV to apply for a driver's license. First, of course, he had to take an Eye sight test. The optician showed him a card with the letters:

'C Z W I X N O S T A C Z.'

"Can you read this?" the optician asked.

"Read it?" the Polish guy replied, "I know the guy."

Pinky: I know I'll probably get an email or post saying something about making fun of Polish people, but it's funny. If we can't laugh at ourselves. It's like someone making a joke about Cubans playing on congas shouting out "Babalooooo!" like Ricky Ricardo in "Lucy" - it's not necesarily true, not all Cubans have have rhythm, but it's still funny. And for the record, I've never felt the need to shout Babaloooo!"

LOL!!! Too funny :) Plus, I don't think it's a particularly bad joke. It's not insulting or anything. There are worse...far worse things people joke about.

Great blog, btw!

I agree...just a little humour in a very tasteful way.

Not like that joke about white people not being able to dance...that one makes me sad. ;) LOL!

Chrissy121875: Can I call you Chrissy? (smile) It "is" a decent joke, I'll admit. Ya never know, though. Thank you for visiting!

amber: But it's true! White people can't dance! (j/k) Everybody here in Tennessee thinks I know how to dance Salsa because I'm Cuban, but the only thing I know to do with Salsa is eat it!

Diesel: Glad ya liked it!

LOL! Eating Salsa = G O O D! I bet you can dance...secretly. ;)

LOL! Pavel, what do you mean you can't dance salsa? :) j/k! What about bachata??

BTW, mi abuesla es espanola :) Yo hablo espanol pero necessito practicar mas! Yo hablo frances y japones tambien.

Urgh..my Spanish totally sucks. It's almost embarrassing! Whenever I speak, my family tells me to speak English because it's easier to understand. Apparently, my accent is too North American...whatever that means! LOL! I'm not Spanish, but my family's got Spanish ancestry...Mom's Spanish-Filipina and Dad's Caribbean-Chinese...and they met in New York City! Crazy.

BTW, yes, go ahead and call me Chrissy! LOL! The 121875 is just so my friends will remember my birthday! LOL! I know. Vain.

Mind if I add you to my faves?

Wow! What an interesting family history you must have, which must make YOU a very interesting person! I look forward to visiting your blog and seeing just how interesting you are! (smile)

Oooooops! I meant "abuela"! I have no idea what 'abuesla' is. I think it was A)a type-o or B)I made it up!

Gracias, Pavel! Hablar y escribir en espanol= muy dificil!!! Necessito practicar MAS! :)

Yes, my family history is quite a colorful! I've got a mixture of everything. From family from Italy, Spain, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago...to Belgium, France, etc...Christmas in our family is like meetings at the United Nations. Too funny. Oh, and to make things more interesting, my husband is Scotish-English-Canadian! Our kids (when we do have kids) are going to be very...mixed up! LOL!

I'll be back to check out your blog (again, and again...)!
