Peter Pan, Microsoft, and Divorces Oh My!

Sorry I haven't posted since Wednesday but my plate was VERY full these last couple of days. Lets see: I had to study for my latest Microsoft Certification, the MCDST. (Microsoft Certified Desktop Service Technician) I studied intensely from Wednesday until Friday when I took the test.

I PASSED!!! Woo Hoo!

I was having trouble concentrating while I studied because I finally, after waiting FOREVER, received my wife's idea of a divorce settlement and there's NO WAY I could accept it so now we have to go to mediation, so my mind was everywhere else but concentrated enough for studying.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited about passing! I can't wait to tell my boss. My next goal is MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) and I'll have to take two very difficult tests for it, so wish me luck.

Oh, Peter Pan! How can I forget! I was asked to play percussion for Peter Pan and to make my schedule even more difficult, the rehearsals started this Wednesday and so I was there in the evening. It's crazy I tell ya!

Here's an absolutely awful picture of the Darlings, Wenday, Michael, and John during "flying" rehearsals and Peter Pan is in the front singing about having beautiful thoughts. I was standing all the way in the back and the lighting was pretty dark. They're all very good, but the lady playing Peter is absolutely fantastic. I promise to get more (and better) pictures as soon as I'm able.

Congratulations - you're just blazing through these exams which I understand are quite tough! On the other situation, good luck and be patient, it will all work out.

grand news about passing that MCDST test, my friend! and, so sorry the divorce has hit a "mediation" snag -- altho' that happened to me, and it all worked out for the best, hopefully it will for you, too. (hang in there...)

as for Peter Pan? that's always been one of my favorites -- i hope it turns out to be a fun experience for you... maybe help "lift" your spirits a bit, eh? stay strong. stay happy. xox

Chrissy: Congrats!!!
I need to visit you and see how you're doing. Hope you're well.

g: I'm not sure about the blazing part. Last one I took was in December so I studied on and off for three months. Thanks, though. They are tough. I don't think any college exam I ever took was as hard. If they were, I'd probably still be in college trying to pass!

Neva: So pleasant to hear from you, Puppytoes! You're always a welcome surprise. Thanks on the test, though, and the mediation snag, well, it can't be helped, but I appreciate you and G's comforting words more than you can imagine.

Peter Pan is absolutely fantastic! It WILL lift my spirits.

Congrat's Pavel on passing that terrible test, (so I have heard)...crapola on the divorce thing...but like the other commenter(s), mediation can be a good thing...sometimes it helps to have a third party do the talking and helping conversations become productive and keep them moving forward. I hope this is the case for you. Peter Pan Rocks! Enjoy. :)
