Cooking with what???!!!

Okay, so I'm back at it, trying to learn how to cook some more dishes, but no, I didn't use "this" book. I giggle every time I look at the title. I use my daughter's other cookbook, Osbourne's cookbook for children to learn how to cook.

Hey, we all gotta start somewhere!

But I'm not cooking with Pooh. Nope. Just can't do it.

Get teh Moosewood Cafe cookbook too, it's available at amazon, what have you. I learned to cook with that series and although it's mostly veggie food (we don't eat too much meat) you can add meat to most things. It gives you a good background in basic food prep, and teaches you how to make food that kids will eat. It's easy to follow too...I just sent a copy to my oldest son who is living on his own now and he said it was a life saver. Try it. Good luck and good eating! If you ever need food help just write me and I'll be happy to get you through a week, you can even cook and freeze your diners and lunches for your own home made TV dinners and kids love that! (It's also the cheapest way to eat without waste)

Well that beats a friend of mine who proudly announced that she had Pooh on her leg .. a newly-acquired tattoo.

That child is a beauty. :)

Yeah, I can see how you might be reluctant to cook with Pooh. So, what'd you end up cooking?

I'm a little slow as I couldn't figure out what everyone was laughing about for a while. Yeah...I'll just be over here.

LOL! Cooking with Pooh sounds way too much like Cooking with Poo!

Your kids are the cutest!!!

P.S. I've given you an award, but for some reason, I think you may have already received it from someone else.

Casdok: Was there really a Disney executive that thought that it was a good title?!

hmbt: Hey, thanks for the tip! Moosewood Cafe cookbook. I'll check that out.

hilary: rofl!!! Pooh on the leg! hee hee

Thanks, he's cute enough to forget he just broke a rule somewhere. I gotta keep remind myself...

louann: I'll check...

theresa: I cooked my VERY FIRST tuna helper. I was so proud. It didn't taste half bad.

trish: rofl! good question!

Susan: It took a while, huh? lol

c: Maybe people "do" cook with Poo in other cultures, but it "ain't" happening at my house!

An award? Cool! I like awards. Thanks!!! I'll go check it out right away!

Oh, that one cracked me up. I should look for it though, my little G loves cooking, and with Pooh (even though she's now potty-trained) she would enjoy it even more lOL!

Annie: Yuck! Even the picture of the cover, whatever pooh is stirring, isn't very appetizing!

Karen Meg: Let us know how it goes. Just please, don't send us any pictures! (smile)

Barngoddess: Yeah! Wonderful suggestion, which apparently escaped all of the folks at the publishing company!
The little guy loves his garlic bread!
