Nothing like setting a goal...
Woohoo! I studied and took my two Comptia A+ Certification tests, and I passed! I am now A+ certified!
Okay, for those people who have absolutely NO REASON WHATSOEVER to know what this is, it's a computer technician certification. I'm just happy to get it done since I wanted to make sure I had it before the end of the year and it was getting pretty close.
Talking about Goals, my little buddy has a few goals of his own. He was trying to learn all the words to a particular song so he went to the car, bringing his cd player along, and practiced, right there in the parking lot.

Do you remember not caring about how you sang or if anyone heard you? That's my little buddy. Singing like he's in Broadway for all to hear.
Not me, oh no. I don't even sing loud in my car when I'm all alone, for fear that someone will park next to me and hear me singing. I'm not shy or anything; I perform in front of a lot of folks often. As a matter of fact, I'm currently playing percussion for a stage show of Shenandoah and I'm really not embarrassed playing in front of any size crowds. But I'm also not one of those folks who just don't care what others think, like this crazy dog:
Sorry about the expletive, it was just kind of funny, and it's in REALLY LITTLE LETTERS so I hope no one gets offended...

CONGRATULATIONS!!! (Sorry for yelling). That's fantastic Pavel. Good for you for getting your certification. Probably wasn't easy, especially with the kids. Cute kids, they are though.
Singing is great, it's fun, and so what if other people don't appreciate it. Sometimes that's half the fun!
Good for you!!
Now, that's funny that you are not shy but won't sing in the car...I am the opposite. I am way too shy to perform anything for anybody...but in the car I am all about singing outloud WOO HOO...
in the car ALONE that is lol
YAY!! Doin' the Happy Dance for you!!!
(so does this mean you can tell me why our home network won't let my laptop hook up to the printer?? I thought I'd be the first one to ask for free tech support!)
Congrat's my friend! I love the poster it's perfect!
Congratulations Pav!!! Way to go! I'm proud of you!! Janet
No moss growing on you! Congrats, that's quite an accomplishment. Actually congrats all around - also on the show you're doing, your little man singing, on it all!
karenmeg: Thank you! It took a bit of studying after work and during the lunch breaks and stuff, but it was worth it.
I love singing! I just wish I could do it better.
trish: Sing it, girl!!! (smile)
I just wish I was half as confident as my kids about singing. Those three will start singing anywhere in front of anyone.
susan: lol! Yeah, I might be able to look at that for you!
hmbt: It was cute, huh?
Janet: Thank you!!! And that's for taking the time to leave a comment...
g: lol! Keeping busy helps pass the time! Thanks, G! Good to see you...
woot!!!!!!!
no easy goal to accomplish!!!!
congrats Pavel, you rock :)
I sing all the time in the car when I am alone or w/ Wee One. I cannot carry a tune in a bucket either.....
Your little guy looks determined!
haha, love the dogs. That is too funny. Ive met some really nasty little dogs...they are a lot nastier than the big ones Ive met.
Congratulations on the A+ Certification!
Love your little buddy singing. It's great that kids are so unselfconscious about such things. How and when do we lose that wonderful gift?
Congrats! How exciting!
Hi Dude, thanks for visiting my blog... and I will certainly not be offended by the 'bad' words... heck I say enough on me own!!! As for singing in the car, I'm like you... not going to happen if ANYONE could possibly hear me. Kids have no such inhibitions which is sweet.
barngoddess: It was a challenge, mostly because of the amount of study time I wish I had!
Isn't that little dog a trip??? Little dogs are insane!
beth: Thanks so much! It felt good to get the cert. You are also right about little kids and their lack of inhibition. Isn't it great? If we could keep it as adults, I'm sure we'd be happier people!
myutopia: Thank you very much! And my job paid for the study and the test to boot!
chris h: Thank you so much for visiting me in return. Your blog is great and interesting and funny, and well, all those wonderful things! (You hear that, people??? Go visit her!)
Congrats Pavel! You 'da Man! :)
My kids love to sing loud and proud, and they get that from me.....lol!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY!! Pavel that is wonderful!! I'm SUPER proud of you for reaching your goal.
HUGS and love to you!
regneck girl: Thanks so much!
pinky: Hi there! I "hear" you're going to Disney soon. I'm very happy for you, though a bit jealous. (smile)
Thank you! I really wanted to get that done and it feels good to finally do it.
