There is SO MUCH to tell you, so lets talk!!!

We ate WAY TOO MUCH...

... but unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but take my word for it. It was too much food, as I'm sure it was the same at your home.

The entire weekend was fun, though. First, the kids played outside with the leaves:

Then we went to a popular theme park around here and we took the prerequisite picture near the big Christmas Tree:

Two of my monkeys found a couple of Santa's reindeer and they agreed to take pictures with them:

Then we saw the most amazing and spectacular Christmas show named, "Babes in Toyland." It was awesome!

Later, at night, it got real cold and girlie girl almost froze!

She eventually came out long enough to take a picture with one of Santa's helpers. At least that's what he claimed to be:

The fun had to end eventually, and end it did. Sunday night I had to return them to their mom, but I'm betting they'll remember the fun they had Thanksgiving weekend 2007. I know I will.

How was your weekend, folks?

I'm wondering about the hockey helmet on your little leaf raker there. Was he getting ready to do some Extreme Raking? LOL

Too cute:)

g: Thanks G. We had a wonderful time, with the possible exception of the "hot dog" incident, but maybe I'll write about that later.

Glad to see you around!

casdok: Thank you! I love taking pictures, I just wish I was better at it. I may take a class one day.

hmbt: Too much food!!! Woo Hoo!!!

hilary: Now I appreciate that, especially coming from you who take the most beautiful pictures.

trish: Ah yes. The hockey helmet. His plan was to make a very TALL pile of leaves, then jump into it head first, thus the protective head gear. Did I mention my kids are insane?

bg: lol! You are most welcome. I understand completely; I've got some "pain in the rear" members in the family myself.

beth: Thank you! They're so cute that it's hard to say "No, you can't have a Wii for Christmas!" I'm practicing starting now...

I wish my kids would like raking, that would save me a lot of work. Looks like yours had a great time (and I'm sure you did too), and you can be sure they'll remember it. :)

Man, you just love to get out and have fun with the kids.

Pavel, I don't think I can make it through the Marquez book. It's just so melancholy and slow. I was all excited when I heard the movie was coming out, but then I heard the movie blows. Sigh.

theresa: the trick to getting your kids to rake is throw candy underneath and tell them to go fetch it!!!

annie: thanks! I had fun watching them.

diesel: sorry that you spent time making the effort. He's sort of an acquired taste, I suppose. That "is" a slow story, though the one I mentioned to you was a bit more exciting, though just a bit.
