Guess who was in the Audience..

... while I was playing "Guys and Dolls?"

Recognize her? Yep, Calista Flockhart. Yep, it made me nervous and yeah, I tried really hard to keep mistakes down to a minimum.

Next weekend is the grand opening to "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" which means I'll have rehearsal all this week after work. I'm looking forward to doing this because I'll be playing drums while all three of my kids will be in the ensemble as the students. How cool is that?!

And I bet you didn't make any mistakes...

Sounds like a great time. You'll have to tell us all about it when you have the time. :)

Do they make Calista pay for a whole seat?

That's actually pretty cool. Good job, Pavel.

beth: At least I hope she didn't hear me making them!

hilary: I will. Hope you're doing great!

diesel: ROFL!!! You're right! Since she only takes up half the seat, she should get 50% off.

I think it is awesome that you were in Guys and Dolls! Now I see where your kids get their talent from!!

c: Well, they actually do a lot of singing and dancing in these shows and I KNOW they didn't get those skills from me. You don't want to be in the same building with me when I sing. You'd wonder if some poor animal wasn't hit by a car...

chris h: Oh, okay. Well, I did fine, I guess. Calista didn't actually come up and say "you stink" or anything. (smile) The kids aren't actually in Guys and Dolls. (It's a BIG PEOPLE production, like my kids say.) They're in "Joseph" which I'll post some pictures real soon.

louann: It was FUN!!!

That's cool. Too bad you didn't get to meet her. Good job on landing the drum part, weenie.
