On April Fools Day in Canada, I was listening to the radio and all day they were talking about making a $3 coin! Radio listeners were calling in and complaining all day. I was really upset because I sure don't want any extra coins in my wallet! Hubby and I had a discussion and he said that the good thing about switching from paper bills to coins would be to preserve the longevity of the money. Bills get worn out faster than coins.

At the end of the day, the radio announcers laughed and said it was all an April Fools Day joke. Very funny.

I remember when gas was at those prices. I was like 5 or 6. I have a mustang so you can imagine how much it takes to fill up my tank.

c: That's hilarious, C! National Public Radio plays pranks like that every year.

chris h: Holy cow! I'd buy a bike if I were you!

Orly: Man, that was a long time ago, huh?
