... of broken cameras and motorcycles!
Well, the bad news is that my new camera suddenly stopped working this past weekend and I have no idea why. I didn't drop it or anything; it just stop having the ability to focus, so I took it back to Officemax where I bought it and they agreed to exchange it for a new one since I haven't had it for more than 15 days.
Phew!!!
Unfortunately, they didn't have my model in today but thought they'd be getting a bunch of new ones before the end of the week.
The good news now. I did have a very fun weekend with the kids and some friends of mine who also have kids. Fortunately, the camera worked for the first part of the day and we got to see this Amazing motorcycle rally! The Indianapolis motorcycle drill team was there and they had an amazing array of motorcycles!
The kids were amazed!
Check it out from the front:
Of course, the day was insanely hot so the kids ended up splashing in the water!
There is SO MUCH to tell you, so lets talk!!!

Man, you go on more cool expeditions with your kids.
Thank God my kid can't read or use the computer yet, lest he be jealous of all the fun things you do with your kids.
It looks like they had a great time. I hope you were just as entertained.
I know your kids were grateful to be able to see and experience such great things!!!
your kids are LUCKY! you always have neat stuff to do and see.
Im glad you were able to get your camera replaced, I hate when stuff like that happens.
You're such a great Dad - you take your kids on so many wonderful outings/adventures.
They will treasure the memories.
Hi,
Just dropping by to return the compliment. Sorry to hear about the camera - I know how that feels.
You post some really cool pix - keep snapping away (as long as the camera don't break!)
That BP joke is ANCIENT! But I laughed first time round and I laughed this time too. Thanks.
Diesel: Hey, it's fun! Besides, pretty soon fall (and winter) will come and it's mostly indoor activity from then on.
Dorky Dad: lol!!! Believe me, when you have three kids, you look for things to do outside of the house, you tire them out as much as you can outdoors so by the time you come home, it's late, they're hungry and all they want to do is eat in and watch a good movie. That way they don't trash your house! (smile)
Meow Meow: It doesn't take much to entertain me, so yes, I had fun! I do hope they remember these moments later.
Barngoddess: I like to do outdoor things with them while I can. Pretty soon, snowball fights!
Beth: Right now, they're also going through the divorce along with us so I try to make sure they're having a good time when they're with me.
Dumbdad: Love the name!!! That's how I feel sometimes with these young whipersnappers around me. (smile) Actually, even my little guy is pretty high tech nowadays.
Thanks for visiting!
Looks like a fun time had by all! Pavel, you are by far the coolest dad ever! Oh, Diesel...you too! ;)
Well I hope you get your camera soon !
You have the best times with your kids.
Pavel, thanks for visiting my blog! That was way cool of you!
Hey ... wait a second ... don't I see your camera in that fountain to the left of the oldest? :)
Chrissy: Thank you! Diesel "is" a very cool dad as well, I agree. Well, except for the child labor. (j/k Diesel!)
louann: I got it back yesterday evening. Officemax called and said they got a truck full for me to come in and exchange. Yay!!!
Dan: Actually, I've been meaning to go by your blog before and I think I did once a while back but didn't comment. Considering how many people visit you, being as funny as you are, I should have been a regular at your place a LONG time ago.
Oh, so THAT'S what happened to the camera. (smile)
